Mountainbike Tauranga Club
Mountainbike Tauranga is the central hub for mountain biking in the greater Tauranga region, catering to riders of all ages and running fantastic mountain biking events. Their mission is to promote the sport while ensuring it's as fun and inclusive as possible.
Over the past 15 years, with the support of professional trail builders, they have developed the trails at Summerhill. Through an agreement with the Trust, they ensure that all trails meet national standards, are well signposted, and are safely maintained.
Currently, the club are finalising plans for a new Skills Park, designed as a family-friendly space where beginners and young riders can hone their skills before tackling Summerhill’s more challenging trails. Set to open in 2025, this addition will further enhance the park's mountain biking offerings! Check out their website here.
Trail Maintenance
The trails at Summerhill are maintained by Mountainbike Tauranga. If you're interested in helping with trail maintenance or volunteering for other projects at Summerhill, check out more details here.
