Annual Events at Summerhill
Papamoa Hills Night Walk
Organised as a fundraiser by the Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga Trust, this event typically takes place around late May, June or early July, coinciding with the full moon.
Mountain Biking
Mountainbike Tauranga organises and hosts a range of events, including the summer race series (Monday nights), Enduro races, night races, and general rides.
Orienteering
Orienteering Bay of Plenty hosts a variety of events, including summer and winter orienteering series races, as well as school competitions.
Summerhill Skedaddle
The Summerhill Skedaddle is an annual event for trail runners and walkers, featuring a scenic 5km loop through Summerhill’s beautiful trails. Participants have six hours to complete as many or as few laps as they choose, making it a fun and flexible challenge for all fitness levels.
