Hire Fees & Related Costs
Summerhill is a non-profit charitable trust that relies on grants, donations, and venue hire income to remain operational and accessible to the community. The tiered fee structure for Summerhill Base is designed to make the space affordable for groups that genuinely need a lower-cost option in order to deliver their services or community activities.
All fees are including GST:
Community/non-profit organisations: $28.75 per hour
Schools, kindergartens, tertiary for education: $35.65 per hour
Private, commercial, corporate, promotional and/or for-profit: $71.30 per hour (capped at $570.40 for full day hire).
Cleaning: $92 -$138
Bond: $150 - $300 (Due at least 7 days prior to booking)
Minimum booking time: 2 hours

Summerhill is 11km southeast of Tauranga. Leave Tauranga on Welcome Bay road in the direction of Pāpāmoa Beach. Turn right at Reid Road and climb 3km along the road, Summerhill will be on your left. Look for the Summerhill sign and carpark.
